Welcome Day for new doctoral students | December 2nd

The Doctoral School is organising a Welcome Day for new doctoral students on Friday December 2nd at 12:00 in the Aula Magna of the Paraninfo building (Pza. Basilio Paraíso, 4).

The event will be attended by the Rector of the University of Zaragoza, Mr. José Antonio Mayoral and will consist of a talk on Open Science challenges given by Mr. Ignasi Labastida i Juan, delegate of the Rector for Open Science at the University of Barcelona and founder of the Creative Commons project in Spain, which will be followed by a general informative seminar by the management team of the Doctoral School where the School and its activities will be presented and practical and administrative details about the development of the doctoral thesis will be discussed. The session will also serve to resolve doubts and collect suggestions and requests.

All doctoral students are invited to attend the event, which is highly recommended for first year students and those who have not had the opportunity to attend this session in previous years.

The conference will be an English-friendly event in consideration of the increasing number of doctoral students coming from other countries.
