La Unidad de Igualdad de la Universidad de Zaragoza organiza una mesa redonda para compartir experiencias con los diferentes colectivos feministas estudiantiles que han formado parte de la comunidad universitaria.

Concidiendo con el 40º aniversario de la fundación del colectivo Lisístrata, hemos invitado a la mesa a tres colectivos feministas estudiantiles, para celebrar este aniversario y dialogar sobre el camino recorrido por el feminismo en nuestra Universidad, y el que falta por recorrer.

La mesa redonda tendrá lugar el viernes 29 de septiembre a las 19h. en el Salón de Actos de la Facultad de Economía (Gran Vía, 2) y será presentada por María Angulo, profesora titular de Periodismo en la Universidad de Zaragoza.

Las ponentes y colectivos que compondrán la mesa son:

Nuria Miguel (colectivo Lisístrata). Licenciada en Filosofía y Letras y trabajadora del Ayuntamiento de Zaragoza.Defendió ante el Claustro universitario el discurso en defensa de la primera enmienda feminista de la Universidad de Zaragoza y de todo el Estado, a los estatutos de la Universidad aprobados en 1986. Formó parte del primer equipo de trabajo de la primera Casa de Acogida a Mujeres Maltratadas puesta en marcha por el Ayuntamiento de Zaragoza en el año en 1987.

El colectivo feminista universitario Lisisístrata (1983-1998) se dedicó a combatir las estructuras patriarcales y las manifestaciones de sexismo en el ámbito universitario y la sociedad en general. La inclusión de una enmienda feminista en la aprobación de los Estatutos de la Universidad de Zaragoza fue un momento importante en los inicios del colectivo. Trabajó en la sensibilización y concienciación sobre la violencia machista, promoviendo la visibilización de casos de acoso, abuso y discriminación de género en las instituciones académicas. Abogó por la inclusión de la perspectiva de género en la educación superior y la promoción de actividades relacionadas con el feminismo, el lesbianismo y los estudios de género. Realizó  acciones directas, protestas y manifestaciones para presionar por cambios en las políticas y prácticas de las instituciones académicas. Promovió la solidaridad internacional entre mujeres, así como la colaboración con el movimiento feminista a nivel local,estatal e internacional.

Paula Duerto (Feminismo Unizar - Enjambre Feminista) Graduada en Filosofía. Participa en el movimiento feminista desde 2015. En 2017 participó en el proceso de impulso de la huelga feminista y en la organización del primer encuentro estatal en Zaragoza.Estuvo vinculada a las asambleas del 8M tanto a nivel local como estatal hasta 2020. Actualmente participa en la lucha por la vivienda y en la lucha cuir. 
Feminismo Unizar - Enjambre Feminista (2014 - 2020)
Entre 2014 y 2017 desarrolló distintas campañas, actividades y movilizaciones tanto en el ámbito estudiantil como de la ciudad de Zaragoza. Asambleas abiertas semanales y campañas como la de del #NoEsNo sobre acoso sexual, #EresMachistaYNoLoSabesSi sobre machismo cotidiano, #EresMásQueTuTalla sobre presión estética, o #NadieHizoNada sobre violencias machistas, así como un Diccionario Semanal Feminista. Cinefórums sobre cultura de la violación y trastornos alimentarios, y charlas en institutos sobre amor romántico y violencia machista en la pareja. En colaboración con las asambleas de institutos, organizó Jornadas Estudiantiles Feministas con diversas formaciones y talleres. Participó en la organización de manifestaciones y concentraciones feministas de la ciudad en días como el 25 de noviembre.
En 2017 pasa a llamarse Enjambre Feminista y contribuye a impulsar la huelga feminista. Su última actividad pública fue un concierto desobediente en el campus, en octubre de 2019.

Irene Magallón (Eje Estudiantil 8M ZGZ). Graduada en Derecho por la Universidad de Zaragoza, actualmente cursando el Máster de Abogacía. Integrante del 8M desde 2020, activista feminista y por los derechos humanos.

8M Estudiantil: (activo desde 2018)
El 8M estudiantil es uno de los ejes de la Asamblea 8M ZGZ, formado por estudiantes y docentes, siendo el ámbito educativo su principal sector de actuación. Ha organizado las Aulas Feministas abiertas en el campus universitario de San Francisco en sucesivos 8 de marzo, y convoca la emocionante manifestación feminista estudiantil que las mañanas del 8 de marzo recorre la ciudad.

Feminist Student Movement at the UZ, Talk Friday 29 September.

The Equality Unit of the University of Zaragoza is organising a round table to share experiences with the different feminist student collectives that have formed part of the university community.

Coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Lisistrata collective, we have invited three feminist student collectives to the round table to celebrate this anniversary and to discuss the road travelled by feminism in our University, and the road still to be travelled.

The round table will take place on Friday 29 September at 19h. in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Economics (Gran Vía, 2) and will be presented by María Angulo, Professor of Journalism at the University of Zaragoza.

The speakers and collectives that will make up the round table are:

Nuria Miguel (Lisístrata collective). She defended before the University Senate the speech in defence of the first feminist amendment of the University of Zaragoza and of the whole of Spain to the statutes of the University approved in 1986. She was part of the first work team of the first Shelter for Battered Women set up by the Zaragoza City Council in 1987.

The university feminist collective Lisisístrata (1983-1998) was dedicated to combating patriarchal structures and manifestations of sexism in the university environment and society in general. The inclusion of a feminist amendment in the approval of the Statutes of the University of Zaragoza was an important moment in the beginnings of the collective. It worked to raise awareness of gender-based violence, promoting the visibility of cases of harassment, abuse and gender discrimination in academic institutions. It advocated for the inclusion of the gender perspective in higher education and the promotion of activities related to feminism, lesbianism and gender studies. Undertook direct actions, protests and demonstrations to press for changes in the policies and practices of academic institutions. Promoted international solidarity among women, as well as collaboration with the feminist movement at local, state and international levels.

Paula Duerto (Feminismo Unizar - Enjambre Feminista) Graduate in Philosophy. She has been involved in the feminist movement since 2015. In 2017 she participated in the process of promoting the feminist strike and in the organisation of the first state meeting in Zaragoza and was linked to the 8M assemblies at both local and state level until 2020. She is currently involved in the struggle for housing and in the struggle for the cuir. 

Feminismo Unizar - Enjambre Feminista (2014 - 2020)
Between 2014 and 2017 it developed different campaigns, activities and mobilisations both at student level and in the city of Zaragoza. Weekly open assemblies and campaigns such as #NoEsNo on sexual harassment, #EresMachistaYNoLoSabesSi on everyday machismo, #EresMásQueTuTalla on aesthetic pressure, or #NadieHizoNada on macho violence, as well as a Weekly Feminist Dictionary. Film forums on rape culture and eating disorders, and talks in high schools on romantic love and male violence in couples. In collaboration with high school assemblies, it organised Feminist Student Days with various trainings and workshops. It participated in the organisation of feminist demonstrations and rallies in the city on days such as 25 November.
In 2017 it changed its name to Enjambre Feminista and contributed to promoting the feminist strike. Its last public activity was a disobedient concert on campus in October 2019.

Irene Magallón (Eje Estudiantil 8M ZGZ). Law graduate from the University of Zaragoza, currently studying for a Master's Degree in Law. Member of 8M since 2020, feminist and human rights activist.

8M Student 8M: (active since 2018)
8M Estudiantil is one of the axes of the 8M ZGZ Assembly, made up of students and teachers, with education being its main sector of action. It has organised the open Feminist Classrooms on the San Francisco university campus on successive 8 March, and organises the exciting student feminist demonstration that goes through the city on the mornings of 8 March.
