FECYT y Clarivate: Formación sobre Web of Science (básico y online: 11-13 marzo)

FECYT y Clarivate convocan un curso de formación sobre Web of Science a un nivel básico, online y en español. Tendrá lugar los días 11, 12 y 13 de marzo, de 14 - 15 horas. Las materias tratadas serán las siguientes

  • Mis primeros pasos con Web of Science (nivel básico) - Martes, 11 de marzo
    • Acceder a Web of Science con mi suscripción institucional
    • Aprender a buscar una materia
    • Encontrar los enlaces a los textos completos
  • Utilizar operadores booleanos y guardar mis consultas en Web of Science (nivel básico) - Miércoles, 12 de marzo
    • Trabajar con una cuenta personal para guardar mi trabajo
    • Buscar un tema con operadores booleanos
    • Utilizar mi historial para guardar búsquedas y crear alertas
    • Guardar y organizar documentos en listas marcadas
  • Identificar las publicaciones más importantes con Web of Science (nivel básico) - Jueves, 13 de marzo
    • Aplicar filtros para identificar los resultados más relevantes
    • Aprovechar la clasificación por Citation Topics para acotar mi búsqueda
    • Highly Cited Paper, los documentos más citados en función del contexto
    • Exportar una lista de publicaciones

FECYT and Clarivate are organising a basic level online training course on the Web of Science in Spanish. It will take place on 11, 12 and 13 March, from 2 to 3 pm. The topics covered will be as follows

  • My first steps with the Web of Science (basic level) - Tuesday, 11 March

    • Accessing the Web of Science with my institutional subscription

    • Learning to search for a subject

    • Finding links to full texts

  • Using Boolean operators and saving my searches in Web of Science (basic level) - Wednesday, 12 March

    • Working with a personal account to save my work

    • Searching for a topic with Boolean operators

    • Using my history to save searches and create alerts

    • Saving and organising documents in marked lists
       

  • Identify the most important publications with Web of Science (basic level) - Thursday, 13 March
     

    • Apply filters to identify the most relevant results

    • Take advantage of the Citation Topics classification to narrow down my search

    • Highly Cited Paper, the most cited documents according to the context

    • Export a list of publications
