CONVOCATORIA DE BECAS PARA EL AÑO 2024

La Fundación de Promoción de la Investigación Oriol‐Urquijo convoca, entre graduados de
nacionalidad española con expediente académico destacado (media igual o superior a 8 sobre 10
en el Grado), un concurso de méritos para la concesión de seis becas destinadas a la realización
de la tesis doctoral, en las áreas de Filosofía y Letras, Ciencias Sociales y Jurídicas, y Teología.

De conformidad con los Estatutos de esta Fundación, dichas becas se conceden para la
formación y promoción en actividades docentes y de investigación, en el marco de una
proyección cristiana de la vida.

La Solicitud de Beca se cumplimentará en el formulario disponible en la dirección
https://www.oriolurquijo.org. Una vez cumplimentada la solicitud, será remitida a la Secretaría de la
Fundación la siguiente documentación por correo electrónico a: secretaria@oriolurquijo.org

a) Certificación oficial del expediente académico. En el momento de presentar la solicitud, el
aspirante deberá estar en posesión del título de graduado, acreditar haber obtenido un título de
máster oficial (con excepción del de Formación de Profesorado), y estar inscrito en un programa
de doctorado. Cualquier falsedad documental será motivo de exclusión de la solicitud.

b) Fotocopia del DNI.

No se tramitará ninguna solicitud incompleta.

EL PLAZO DE ADMISIÓN DE SOLICITUDES ES DEL 1 AL 31 DE OCTUBRE DE 2023

El sistema de selección y el régimen de concesión serán los siguientes:

1. Una vez realizada la selección de las solicitudes presentadas, se comunicará a los candidatos
preseleccionados el lugar y fecha para una entrevista personal, que determinará la concesión de
la beca.

2. Serán criterios preferentes en la selección de los solicitantes:
a) Haber terminado los estudios de Grado en los cuatro cursos académicos inmediatamente
anteriores a la fecha de la solicitud.
b) Haber nacido con posterioridad al 1 de enero de 1997.
c) No haber disfrutado de otras becas de postgrado.

3. Las becas se conceden por un máximo de tres años. Son renovables anualmente previa evaluación
favorable de la Memoria del trabajo realizado. Se perciben en doce asignaciones mensuales, y su
importe bruto anual es de 13.200 euros.

4. Aquellos becarios que en el plazo previsto de tres años hayan finalizado y depositado su tesis
conforme a la normativa universitaria vigente, y hayan disfrutado la beca en su totalidad,
recibirán una ayuda adicional de 5.000 euros.

5. La concesión de las becas tendrá efectos económicos a partir del 1 de enero de 2024.

6. El disfrute de la beca requiere dedicación exclusiva al proyecto de investigación y es incompatible
con cualquier otro tipo de beca o remuneración.

CALL FOR GRANTS FOR THE YEAR 2024

The Oriol-Urquijo Foundation for the Promotion of Research announces a call for applications from graduates of
