III Encuentro de Jóvenes Investigadores en Cáncer (EJIC).
Os presentamos el III Encuentro de Jóvenes Investigadores en Cáncer (EJIC). Tras el éxito de la segunda edición, EJIC 2024 pretende volver a crear un punto de encuentro de investigadores predoctorales de diferentes puntos del territorio nacional, que abordan el estudio del cáncer desde diversas perspectivas. Este evento ofertará talleres de formación a los asistentes (EJICkers) que se complementarán con muestras divulgativas en diferentes formatos y concursos, para fomentar el desarrollo de las capacidades transversales.
Las jornadas se llevarán a cabo durante los días 6, 7 y 8 de Junio de 2024 en la ciudad de Calatayud (Zaragoza). Desde la Organización del EJIC 2024 se ofrecen 30 plazas de asistencia: 15 para investigadores predoctorales iniciados (1-2 años de tesis) y 15 para investigadores predoctorales avanzados (3 o más años de tesis). En esta nueva edición, desde la Organización proporcionamos dietas y alojamiento en habitaciones compartidas gratuito, así como la asistencia gratuita al cocktail de bienvenida y a la clásica Cena de Bata. Si bien, el desplazamiento hasta el lugar del encuentro será sufragado por el propio investigador/a predoctoral.

El período de preinscripción se extenderá desde el 27 de Febrero hasta el 27 de Marzo, siendo el número de preinscripciones limitado a las primeras 100. Durante las primeras semanas de Abril se comunicarán los 30 seleccionados EJICkers 2024, y se abrirá el período de inscripción a los concursos de esta edición. Planteamos un encuentro que no sólo sirva como foro entre los propios investigadores predoctorales, sino también como escaparate a la sociedad de la investigación contra el cáncer desde sus primeras etapas en el laboratorio.
III Meeting of Young Cancer Researchers (EJIC).
We present the III Meeting of Young Cancer Researchers (EJIC). After the success of the second edition, EJIC 2024 aims to once again create a meeting point for pre-doctoral researchers from different parts of Spain, who approach the study of cancer from different perspectives. This event will offer training workshops to the attendees (EJICkers) which will be complemented with informative exhibitions in different formats and competitions, to encourage the development of transversal skills.
The conference will take place on 6, 7 and 8 June 2024 in the city of Calatayud (Zaragoza). The organisers of EJIC 2024 are offering 30 places to attend: 15 for early-stage predoctoral researchers (1-2 years of thesis) and 15 for advanced predoctoral researchers (3 or more years of thesis). In this new edition, the Organisation will provide free meals and accommodation in shared rooms, as well as free attendance at the welcome cocktail and the classic Bata Dinner. However, travel to the meeting venue will be paid for by the pre-doctoral researcher him/herself.

The pre-registration period will run from 27 February to 27 March, with the number of pre-registrations limited to the first 100. During the first weeks of April, the 30 selected EJICkers 2024 will be announced, and the registration period for the competitions of this edition will be opened. We propose a meeting that will not only serve as a forum among the predoctoral researchers themselves, but also as a showcase to society of cancer research from its early stages in the laboratory.
