Convocatorias de premios de tesis relevantes y de supervisión de tesis del CSIC.
Desde DPE nos complace anunciaros el lanzamiento de las convocatorias de premios de tesis relevantes y de supervisión de tesis del CSIC.
Además, en esta ocasión hay una novedad, el “Premio a la supervisión novel de tesis doctorales” para reconocer institucionalmente la labor de dirección de tesis llevada a cabo por personal del CSIC que ha iniciado recientemente su trayectoria en la supervisión. Este premio concederá hasta cuatro premios dotados cada uno con 2.000€.
Esta convocatoria se suma a las ediciones de la Medalla Margarita Salas y del Premio de tesis doctorales relevantes del CSIC, que reconocen por segundo año consecutivo, la trayectoria a la supervisión de jóvenes y las tesis relevantes del CSIC respectivamente.
La Medalla Margarita Salas a la mejor trayectoria en supervisión de personal investigador del CSIC concederá hasta ocho premios dotados cada uno con 5.000€ en las categorías junior y senior, con menos y más de 24 años desde la finalización de su doctorado a 31 de diciembre de 2022, respectivamente.
El Premio para tesis doctorales relevantes del CSIC concederá hasta 20 premios, de 1.000€ cada uno distribuidos por área global del CSIC: Vida (hasta 10 premios), Materia (hasta 6 premios) y Sociedad (hasta 4 premios).
La inscripción estará abierta hasta el 11 de diciembre a través de los siguientes formularios:

CSIC Calls for relevant thesis awards and thesis supervision.
From DPE we are pleased to announce the launch of the calls for relevant thesis and thesis supervision awards of the CSIC.
In addition, on this occasion there is a novelty, the "Prize for the novel supervision of doctoral theses" to institutionally recognise the work of thesis supervision carried out by CSIC staff who have recently started their career in supervision. This prize will award up to four prizes of €2,000 each.
This call is in addition to the editions of the Margarita Salas Medal and the CSIC's Relevant Doctoral Thesis Award, which recognise, for the second year running, the career in supervision of young people and the CSIC's relevant doctoral theses, respectively.
The Margarita Salas Medal for the best career in supervision of CSIC research staff will award up to eight prizes of €5,000 each in the junior and senior categories, with less than and more than 24 years since the completion of their doctorate by 31 December 2022, respectively.
The CSIC Prize for Relevant CSIC PhD Theses will award up to 20 prizes of €1,000 each, distributed by CSIC global area: Life (up to 10 prizes), Matter (up to 6 prizes) and Society (up to 4 prizes).
