V Premio de Tesis Doctorales en Cooperación al Desarrollo - Educación para la transformación social | G9 Universidades
Objetivo de la Convocatoria
El objetivo de la presente convocatoria es premiar la mejor tesis doctoral sobre temas de Desarrollo Humano Sostenible, Educación para el Desarrollo y Cooperación Universitaria al Desarrollo defendida entre el 1 de enero de 2017 y el 31 de diciembre de 2021, en cualquiera de las universidades públicas españolas.
A través de este premio, se pretende potenciar, con vocación de continuidad en el tiempo, utilidad técnica y aplicación práctica, la investigación para y sobre el desarrollo en el marco de los programas de doctorado de las universidades públicas, así como la realización de tesis que puedan dar lugar a líneas de investigación.
Personas Destinatarias
Podrá optar al premio cualquier persona que haya estado matriculada en un programa de doctorado y que haya defendido con éxito su tesis doctoral entre el 1 de enero de 2017 y el 31 de diciembre de 2021, en cualquier universidad pública española.
Requisitos del Trabajo

La tesis doctoral debe haber sido defendida y aprobada entre el 1 de enero de 2017 y el 31 de diciembre de 2021.

La tesis doctoral presentada debe estar relacionada con o contribuir a la EpTS.

La tesis presentada no debe haber sido premiada con anterioridad. En el supuesto de que se presente el mismo trabajo a diferentes convocatorias de premios, se tendrá que indicar en el momento de cumplimentar la solicitud. La persona adjudicataria del premio, en el supuesto de aceptar otros premios, tendrá que renunciar expresa y formalmente al premio objeto de esta convocatoria.
Premio
El premio consistirá en la publicación de la tesis ganadora en formato digital con número de registro ISBN y su difusión en la red de universidades del G-9, junto a otras redes asociadas. Asimismo, la persona ganadora recibirá un diploma acreditativo y un premio de 1.000 euros.
La entrega del premio tendrá lugar en el marco de una reunión de la Asamblea General de Rectoras y Rectores del G-9. El G-9 costeará el viaje (dentro del territorio nacional) y el alojamiento en la ciudad de entrega del premio.
El G-9 se reserva el derecho de uso del contenido de la investigación, sin perjuicio de lo establecido en la legislación en materia de derechos de autor.
El premio podrá quedar desierto.
Plazo de presentación
El plazo de presentación de solicitudes finalizará el 31 de agosto de 2023.

Objective of the Call
The objective of this call is to award the best doctoral thesis on issues of Sustainable Human Development, Education for Development and University Development Cooperation defended between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2021, in any of the Spanish public universities.
The aim of this award is to promote research for and on development within the framework of doctoral programs at public universities, as well as theses that may give rise to lines of research, with a vocation for continuity over time, technical utility and practical application.
Recipients
Anyone who has been enrolled in a doctoral program and who has successfully defended their doctoral thesis between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2021, at any Spanish public university is eligible for the award.
Work Requirements
- The doctoral thesis must have been defended and approved between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2021.
- The doctoral thesis submitted must be related to or contribute to EpTS.
- The submitted thesis must not have been previously awarded. In the event that the same work is submitted to different award calls, it will have to be indicated at the time of completing the application. The person awarded the prize, in the event of accepting other prizes, will have to expressly and formally renounce the prize that is the object of this call.
Prize
The prize will consist of the publication of the winning thesis in digital format with ISBN registration number and its dissemination in the network of universities of the G-9, along with other associated networks. The winner will also receive a diploma and a prize of 1,000 euros.
The award will be presented at a meeting of the G-9 Rectors' General Assembly. The G-9 will pay for travel (within the national territory) and accommodation in the city where the prize is awarded.
The G-9 reserves the right to use the content of the research, without prejudice to the provisions of copyright legislation.
The prize may not be awarded.
Deadline for submission
The deadline for submission of applications is August 31, 2023.
