Visibilidad de científicas humanas y sociales: Día Internacional de la Mujer y la Niña en la Ciencia.
Nos complace comunicaros que este año se va a celebrar la tercera edición de Las científicas en clase en la que participasteis en ediciones anteriores, impartiendo charlas en centros de secundaria de Zaragoza con motivo del Día Internacional de la Mujer y la Niña en la Ciencia.
Ponemos a vuestra disposición el documento excel para que a partir de este momento y hasta el viernes 26 de enero podáis elegir, si queréis participar este año, la propuesta que os cuadre más. Os pedimos que, en la medida de lo posible, respetéis las preferencias temáticas de los centros. Solo tenéis que apuntar vuestro nombre y datos en la casilla correspondiente.
Si no hay contraorden por nuestra parte, el martes 30 podéis poneros en contacto con el centro y fijar los detalles de vuestra presentación.
Recordaros que tenéis total libertad para elegir el tema de las charlas (vuestros proyectos, vuestras tesis doctorales, vuestro último artículo, vuestra línea de investigación...), aunque hay que explicar qué es el 11F y por qué es importante. Os proponemos el siguiente esquema:
- Explicar qué es el 11F y por qué es importante que las mujeres trabajemos en puestos de responsabilidad e impacto social
- ¿Os habíais parado a pensar si las Hum y CCSS son ciencia? ¿Por qué sí o por qué no?
- ¿Qué temas creéis que investigamos en nuestra disciplina?
- ¿Para qué sirven?
- Explicación breve de alguna línea de investigación que llevéis a cabo.
- Final: ¿Creéis que solo las ciencias STEM aportan conocimiento?

Visibility of human and social scientists: International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
We are pleased to inform you that this year we are going to celebrate the third edition of Scientists in the Classroom, in which you participated in previous editions, giving talks in secondary schools in Zaragoza on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
We provide you with the excel document so that from now until Friday 26th January you can choose, if you want to participate this year, the proposal that suits you best. We ask you, as far as possible, to respect the thematic preferences of the centres. All you have to do is write your name and details in the corresponding box.
If there is no counter-order from our side, on Tuesday 30th you can contact the centre and fix the details of your presentation.
Remember that you are free to choose the topic of your talks (your projects, your doctoral thesis, your latest article, your line of research...), although you must explain what 11F is and why it is important. We suggest the following outline:
- Explain what 11F is and why it is important for women to work in positions of responsibility and social impact.
- Have you ever stopped to think about whether the Humanities and Social Sciences are science? Why or why not?
- What topics do you think we research in our discipline?
- What are they for?
- Brief explanation of a line of research that you carry out.
- Final: Do you think that only STEM sciences provide knowledge?
