Acuerdo del Comité de Dirección del 8 de enero por el que se aprueba la propuesta de nuevo reglamento de régimen interno de la Escuela de Doctorado.

El pasado 8 de enero de 2024, en reunión extraordinaria del Comité de Dirección de la Escuela de Doctorado, se aprobó por mayoría absoluta (41 votos a favor, 1 voto en contra y 1 abstención) la propuesta del nuevo reglamento de régimen interno de la Escuela de Doctorado. Éste persigue reordenar y clarificar las funciones de la Escuela, definir su estructura, integrando a la Comisión de Doctorado de la Universidad de Zaragoza como una comisión delegada del Comité de Dirección de la Escuela, y alinearla con el resto de los centros de la misma. Por otra parte, se crea una nueva comisión delegada del Comité de Dirección, llamada Comisión de garantías, que habrá de velar por la buena convivencia en el entorno de los estudios de doctorado. Además, entre otros cambios introducidos, cabe destacar la ampliación de una a tres subdirecciones en el equipo de dirección, dedicadas a las siguientes áreas de competencia: “Calidad y sostenibilidad”, “Internacionalización” y “Formación y asuntos académicos”.

Esta propuesta se ha remitido a Secretaría General para que se continúe con los trámites pertinentes y se está a la espera de que se apruebe, si procede, por el Consejo de Gobierno.

Agreement of the Steering Committee of 8 January approving the proposal for the new internal regulations of the Doctoral School.

On 8 January 2024, at an extraordinary meeting of the Steering Committee of the Doctoral School, the proposal for the new internal regulations of the Doctoral School was approved by an absolute majority (41 votes in favour, 1 vote against and 1 abstention). This aims to reorganise and clarify the functions of the School, to define its structure, integrating the Doctoral Commission of the University of Zaragoza as a delegated commission of the School's Management Committee, and to align it with the rest of the School's centres. On the other hand, a new delegated commission of the Management Committee has been created, called the Guarantees Commission, which will have to watch over the good coexistence in the environment of the doctoral studies. In addition, among other changes introduced, it is worth mentioning the increase from one to three sub-directorates in the management team, dedicated to the following areas of competence: "Quality and sustainability", "Internationalisation" and "Training and academic affairs".

This proposal has been sent to the Secretary General's Office for further processing and is awaiting approval, if necessary, by the Governing Council.
