Doctorate Letter

Once registration has been completed , the Doctoral Letter must be submitted within a maximum period of one month, a document that establishes the rights and duties of doctoral students and details the supervisory functions of the directors and tutor. This document is signed by the doctoral student, tutor, director(s), coordinator of the corresponding Doctoral Program and by the Director of the Doctoral School.

Procedure for presentation

  1. The doctoral student accesses the Solicit@ platform .

  2. From the Options menu choose Start New Request .

  3. Enter PIN and administrative password .

  4. In the Catalog of applications classified by category, choose Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, etc. Students.

  5. Among the options that are displayed, choose PhD Letter Presentation .

  6. Review the information and press Submit .

  7. Accept "I declare that all the information provided is true and I confirm my willingness to present it."

  8. Sign and Send.

  9. The doctoral student will receive a message when their application is accepted.

Incidents in the presentation

In the event that the Doctorate Letter cannot be submitted, the following may occur:

  • Once registration is completed , the Doctoral School must authorize the doctoral student's access to the application . These authorizations are carried out at least once a week, so it should be possible to present them on the Monday following registration .

  • If the problem is that a director does not appear as a signatory, it may be that:

    • The director has not been included in the Admission Letter that the administrative headquarters sends once admitted to the Doctoral Program. In this case, he must contact the administrative headquarters of said program.

    • The director assigned in the Admission Letter is not linked as the thesis director. In this case, he must contact the Doctoral School to proceed with his connection.
