Composition

Management of doctoral teaching and activities.
Coordination of the activities of the Doctoral School and its doctoral programmes.
Monitoring doctoral candidates’ training, as well as verifying that the required training requirements have been met prior to the doctoral thesis defense.
Preparation of its internal regulations and, where appropriate, amendments to them, and submission to the Governing Council for approval.
Establishing the general operating guidelines of the Doctoral School.
Submitting proposals to the Governing Council for the creation, modification, or discontinuation of doctoral programmes.
Reporting on the verification report of doctoral programmes.
Establishing the procedure for preparing the quality report on doctoral studies by the Doctoral Committee, as well as the specific quality assurance criteria and guidelines that programmes linked to the Doctoral School of the University of Zaragoza must meet.
Approving the management report of the Director of the School.
Promoting the participation of the Doctoral School in competitive calls aimed at securing resources to carry out its functions.
Establishing other coordination and management mechanisms for organizing activities and carrying out the School’s functions.
Any other functions assigned to the Doctoral School that are not expressly entrusted to another body.
