Training grants at the Geographical Institute of Aragon

The Geographical Institute of Aragon has announced three training grants in the fields of Geography, Cartography and Geodesy, aimed at university graduates with the aim of supplementing their academic training and facilitating their entry into the labour market.

The scholarships will initially last for 12 months, extendable to a maximum of 36, and will provide a gross monthly stipend of €1,200. The application period will run from 25 March to 16 April.

These scholarships are open to Spanish nationals or nationals of European Union or European Economic Area countries who hold degrees in Geography, Cartography, Geodesy or Geomatics, as well as those with master’s or doctoral degrees in related fields such as Geographic Information Systems, Spatial Planning or Remote Sensing.

Among the requirements, applicants must not have previously received a similar grant from the Government of Aragon for more than six months, must have obtained their degree within the last five years, and must not be subject to any circumstances that would prevent them from receiving public funding.
