Specific training activity | Doctoral School
On Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., a special training session organized by the Doctoral School will be held in the Sala de Grados of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (Building A, 1st floor). The session will focus on scientific communication, research evaluation, and the impact of artificial intelligence in the academic sphere.
The session will be led by Isidro F. Aguillo, Technical Deputy Director of the Institute of Public Goods and Policies (IPP-CSIC), head of the Institute’s Cybermetrics Laboratory, and founder and editor-in-chief of the journal Cybermetris, who will deliver the following lectures:
“Publish or Perish: Ethics, Integrity, and Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Communication”
“Beyond the Impact Factor: Metrics, Evaluation, and Rankings”
The event is organized by the Doctoral School of the University of Zaragoza and the Doctoral Programs in Ancient Sciences; Heritage, Societies, and Border Spaces; and Land Use Planning and the Environment.
