Semifinals of the UNITA 2026 “Thesis in 3 Minutes” Contest. Results.
Yesterday, May 13, coinciding with European Doctoral Day, the local selection round for the 3-Minute Thesis Contest organized by UNITA took place, with six candidates from various doctoral programs participating (Health and Sports Sciences, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Chemical and Environmental Engineering, and Global Health).
As required by the rules, all presentations were in English, and those selected to advance to the final in Brescia are Cristina Álvarez Solana (Organic Chemistry) and Ismael Perisé Badía (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology).
The jury was composed of Sergio Salinas (Vice Rector for Internationalization and Cooperation), Eva Cerezo (Director of the Doctoral School), and Ana Mancho de la Iglesia (professor in the Pre-departmental Unit of Journalism, Audiovisual Communication, and Advertising).
