Second edition of ‘Thesis in 3 Minutes International’ - Campus Iberus

The “Thesis in 3 Minutes International” competition was held on 11 November at the University of La Rioja. It is aimed at PhD students and researchers who have recently defended their thesis. They must explain the content of their research in a limited time, using simple language that is understandable and accessible to the general public. This initiative was launched at Campus Iberus in 2015.

The aim of this competition is to bring the work of young researchers closer to society and, at the same time, instil in them an interest in the dissemination and promotion of science.

We congratulate the winner, Silvia Nathalia Núñez, from the Javeriana University in Colombia, and those who, together with her, won second and third prize, Beatriz Peñín del Río, PhD from the University of La Rioja, and Gabriela Rivera Hernández, from the Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico), respectively.

Congratulations also to all the participants for their work.
