388,000 euros in prizes for the most promising startups/spinoffs linked to a university. Registration open until April 17, 2026
Santander Universities Spain is looking for the 97 most promising startups/spinoffs linked to a university with the aim of helping them grow. They are looking for companies legally established in Spain that meet at least one of the following requirements:
They are already generating revenue.
They have a team of at least 2 and no more than 25 people on full-time contracts.
They have raised seed capital of up to €1,000,000 in investment rounds.
The aim of the Program is to recognize and promote the best technology- or knowledge-based university startups and spin-offs that have an innovative and disruptive solution in the acceleration phase, which will be given the opportunity to compete for a prize, as well as the chance to test themselves alongside the best players in the national business ecosystem.
The representative or representative team of the startup/spin-off that meets at least one of the following requirements, among others, will be eligible to participate in this program and therefore eligible to receive an award:
At least one member of the candidate team must be a student or graduate with a maximum of 5 years since graduation from one of the universities.
At least one member of the candidate team must be a university professor, researcher, or civil servant at one of the universities mentioned in the previous paragraph.
At least one member of the candidate team must have a formal connection with one of the universities.
At least one member of the candidate team must be a current entrepreneur or mentor at one of the universities (including being a company recognized as a university spin-off or startup).
