‘Rural Women and the Demographic Challenge: tangible proposals for institutionalising the gender perspective in rural communities’

The aim of this initiative is to outline and propose a set of tangible regulatory and institutional reforms with the firm intention of removing the obstacles that prevent the establishment of effective equality between women and men in rural areas, by coordinating synergies between different actors (universities, public administrations, feminist movements, etc.). It also aims to highlight the work carried out by young researchers who are leading research in this field.

This meeting therefore offers the opportunity for those who are starting out in academic life and have lines of research related to the subject under study to play an active role.

To this end, please find attached the call for abstracts. Please note that the deadline for submitting proposals is 30 January 2026 and that accepted papers and presentations will be subject to financial remuneration.
