The Romanillos Foundation’s Alberto Rábano Prize for a Doctoral Thesis in Neuroscience
This call for applications is open to all PhD graduates who have been awarded the grade of ‘Distinction cum laude’ for their doctoral thesis on basic and clinical neuroscience, neurology, neurosurgery, neuropathology, neurophysiology or psychiatry, defended at a Spanish university during the calendar year 2025.
PRIZE MONEY: A single prize is awarded, worth €7,000
APPLICATION PERIOD From 3 March to 7 April 2026.
NOTIFICATION OF THE WINNER: The successful candidate will be notified by email in October 2026.
AWARD CEREMONY: The award ceremony will take place in November 2026. The Romanillos Foundation will arrange the details in consultation with the successful candidate, who must be present at the ceremony.
