Research grants and Award for Best Doctoral Thesis VIUNED

The VIU-NED Chair in Global Neuroscience and Social Change (VIU – NED Foundation) has opened its 2026 calls for applications, aimed at promoting research with clinical and social impact in the field of neuroscience.

Two initiatives have been launched in this edition:

• Research Grants (3rd edition)
  • 1 grant of up to €3,000

  • Projects in neuroscience, with a special focus on neurodegeneration and brain ageing

  • Deadline: 27/03/2026

• Award for Best Doctoral Thesis (4th edition)

  • Prize: €1,500

  • Recent theses in biomedical and translational neuroscience

  • Deadline: 13/03/2026
