QUAES-Ascires Foundation National Award for the Best Doctoral Thesis | Until 30 November

The QUAES-Ascires Chair at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, promoted and funded by the QUAES Foundation and the Ascires Medical Group, announces the 6th edition of its Awards for the Best Doctoral Thesis on the Application of Imaging, Genomics or New Hospital Technologies in Oncology, Cardiology or Neurology.

In this call, open until 30 November 2025, a prize of €2,500 will be awarded for the winning work, with the possibility of two runner-up prizes of €500 each.

The doctoral thesis must have been defended at a Spanish university between 1 October 2023 and 30 September 2025, and the main topic must be related to precision diagnostics or translational research using medical image analysis, genomics or new hospital technologies in oncology, cardiology or neurology.

The doctoral thesis must have obtained a grade of ‘Outstanding Cum Laude’ and have resulted in at least one publication in a JCR-indexed journal ranked in the first quartile of its category in the year of publication, in which the author of the doctoral thesis appears as first author, second author, and/or corresponding author.
