Open Science and Data Management Plan Training Session

Campus Iberus invites you to the next training session in our series. This time, the focus is on the topic of Open Science and Data Management Plan.

The training will be conducted in English by international expert Pedro Príncipe, head of the Division of Scientific Information Management, Repositories, and Open Science at the University of Minho. With more than two decades of professional experience in data management, Pedro Príncipe has spearheaded major projects related to open science infrastructure (e.g., OpenAIRE) and is a member of numerous initiatives and expert groups in this field (EOSC Future, PathOS, PATTERN, OSTRAILS, FAIRsFAIR, FIT4RRI, and FOSTER). At the national level, he coordinates the Re.Data consortium, collaborates with Portugal’s Open Access Scientific Repository and the PUBIN initiative, and chairs the Research Data Management Forum (RDM Forum). Furthermore, Pedro was appointed by Portugal’s Ministry of Science, Technology, and Higher Education to develop the National Open Science Policy; he collaborates internationally with COAR on interoperability and controlled vocabularies; and he coordinates the Academic Libraries Working Group within the Portuguese Association of Librarians, Archivists, and Documentalists (BAD).
