Newsletter of the Doctorate in Social Sciences (FCH-UNRC)

For the fifth consecutive year, the DOCSOC Bulletin provides a space for the dissemination and exchange of information, stories and experiences of students, teachers, graduates and others interested in the degree programme.

In this edition: The DOCSOC workshop entitled ‘Building evidence in empirical research in social sciences’ by Dr Ivana Verónica Rivero (FCH-UNRC) is presented. The seventh DOCSOC 2025 Doctoral Thesis Defence (FCH-UNRC) is announced, to be held in December by Mgter. Mónica Castro (UNRC). The book ‘Sociedad, educación y comunicación territorializadas’ (Territorialised Society, Education and Communication) is presented, a publication that brings together writings by ISTE (CONICET-UNRC) fellows and DOCSOC (FCH-UNRC) students. In addition, in the Doctorate Voices section, Dr. María Carolina García Soriano (DOCSOC graduate) shares her experience of her epistemological and ontological work on the Argentine Criminal Tax Regime.

The Bulletin also contains a variety of information on academic events, postgraduate courses, scientific publications, institutional news, and other developments of relevance to our postgraduate community.

Published monthly, the DOCSOC Newsletter is a space for socialising and exchanging meaningful information about our postgraduate activities and the academic life of its protagonists.
