Funded micro-credential in Open and Citizen Science for active participation in civic life | 1st edition
The International Doctoral School of the University of Castilla-La Mancha is launching the first edition of the subsidised micro-credential in Open and Citizen Science, aimed at PhD students, research staff with a PhD, professionals from various fields, and anyone interested in contributing to the generation of scientific knowledge and understanding how this can be applied to society. We believe this may be of interest to these three groups, as this training ...
... will provide doctoral students with the basic principles of open and citizen science, which are essential skills that doctoral schools must promote in accordance with Royal Decree 576/2023.
... will help more experienced research staff to design and promote research projects that involve the public and to disseminate their results to society in general and the scientific community in particular.
... will help professionals and the general public with post-compulsory education to identify ways of participating in the generation of robust scientific evidence to combat the spread of unverified information that does not comply with scientific methods.
