EuroSDR Award for the Best Doctoral Thesis in Geoinformation

The European organisation EuroSDR, which brings together European mapping and cadastral agencies, research centres and universities, is once again organising this year’s award for doctoral theses that have made a significant contribution to the development of geographic information. The aim is to recognise the work and efforts of doctoral students and to support the advancement of young professionals.

To be eligible, theses must have been defended between January 2025 and July 2026 and must address one or more of the areas of work covered by the EuroSDR Commissions. The author of the winning thesis will receive €500 and will be invited to present their work at the next EuroSDR Council of Delegates.
