European Doctoral Research and Mobility Grants | Applications open until 25 March

Information:
The Charles V European Prize includes the award of Research and Mobility Grants in European Studies, aimed at researchers currently working on a doctoral thesis. The subject matter of these grants is tailored in each edition to the award winner’s curriculum; they focus on European history, memory and integration from the theme chosen by the award winner in each edition and from a multidisciplinary perspective. The focus of this call for applications will be on the theme ‘Migration, refugees and human rights’.

Requirements:
Hold nationality of a European Union member state or of one of the countries eligible for this call.
Be enrolled in a PhD programme at a university in one of the countries eligible for this call and be in the process of preparing a doctoral thesis in History, Political Science, Economics, Law, and other disciplines within the Humanities and Social Sciences, as well as other branches of science, on a topic related to the subject and focus set out in the call.
Demonstrate proficiency in one of the two working languages (English or Spanish) at a level equal to or higher than B2 of the CEFR.
Award: The amount of each scholarship is €2,500
