EUA-CDE Thematic Workshop | 15-16 January, Liège
The EUA-CDE 2026 thematic workshop, which will focus on ‘Doctoral training for the future of European R&I’, will be held on 15 and 16 January in Liège (Belgium).
Organised by the University of Liège, this year's 2026 thematic workshop will focus on the future of European funding programmes and policies that will affect doctoral training in the coming years. Parallel sessions will explore how funding programmes can be improved to support doctoral training. Participants will also exchange views on topics such as research career reform, dual-use research and the contribution of doctoral training to Europe's competitiveness.
