EDUZ’s participation in the European Researchers’ Night 2026

For the first time, the University of Zaragoza’s Doctoral School (EDUZ) will take part in the European Researchers’ Night 2026, which will be held on 25 and 26 September in Plaza del Pilar (opposite the Government Delegation), under the slogan “Imagine tomorrow”. Following on from last year’s attendance of over 38,000 visitors, this year’s event has expanded its floor space to 750 m², bringing together 33 institutions and 270 participants in a programme featuring more than 80 activities. Specifically, EDUZ will be taking part with three activities organised by PhD students from various disciplines at the following times:

• Friday 25 September, from 17:00 to 20:30: “The CERTEST secret code: read the DNA and defeat the virus” (Participants: Irene Blasco Machín, Laura García Latorre, Víctor Sanz Casorrán).

• Friday 25 September, from 10.00 pm to 12.30 am: “Knowledge and Spending” (Participants: Ernesto Rodriguez Díez, Alberto Labuena García and Sara Campos Oliveros).

• Saturday 26 September, from 10.00 to 14.00: ‘Digitisation and transcription of the unpublished manuscripts of Gerónimo Borao and Clemente’ (Participant: Guillermo Borao Navarro).
