The Data Protection Unit informs: New simplified procedure for processing personal data in TFG, TFM and doctoral theses

To assist you with the process, we have simplified the procedure for authorising the processing of personal data in academic and research work (TFG, TFM and doctoral theses) that involves a low level of risk in terms of data protection.

Therefore, please note that, from now on, before submitting your application for authorisation to process data through CUSTOS, you will have to complete a privacy test with the actual data from your academic work, following the instructions contained in the explanatory guide and in the privacy test itself.

This new procedure is intended to streamline the processing of personal data in academic work with a low level of risk, so that the applicant or internal manager (director or tutor) does not have to go through the CUSTOS process, which is more costly and can take longer, in cases where the score obtained in the test is less than 3.
