Conference on the inclusion of deaf people in academia | 23 April

The Spanish Youth Academy is organising a conference on the inclusion of deaf people in academia, which will take place on 23 April 2026 at the IATA-CSIC (Paterna, Valencia), both in person and online.

The session will begin with the screening of a video produced by ACAPPS, in which deaf university students will share their experiences and the barriers they encounter in academia. The programme will also include presentations on obstacles to accessing higher education and scientific advances related to this disability.
