Conference: ‘Alliances for equality and improving care for women victims of violence’

The Chair of Studies on Violence against Women and Gender Equality at the University of Zaragoza and the Aragonese Institute for Women are pleased to invite you to the conference:

‘Alliances for equality and improving care for women victims of violence: shared responsibility and the care crisis’, to be held on 10 December 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the Pilar Sinués Hall of the Paraninfo at the University of Zaragoza.

The conference aims to be a space for reflection and knowledge transfer to address the relationships between shared responsibility, the care crisis and gender-based violence in an integrated manner, connecting these issues with equality policies and improving care for women victims of violence.

Among other presentations, the programme includes:

• Presentation by Dr María Ángeles Durán on the care crisis, inequality and gender-based violence.

• Presentation by Dr Patricia Elgoibar on risk prevention with a gender perspective and violence in the era of teleworking.

• Round table on experiences and alliances on shared responsibility, decent employment and violence prevention, with the participation of social entities, cooperatives, companies and public administrations.

• Presentation of the 1st Research Award ‘Gender and Violence against Women’.
