Call for applications for 2027 grants to support the completion of a doctoral thesis
The Oriol-Urquijo Foundation for the Promotion of Research is inviting applications from Spanish nationals with an outstanding academic record (an average of 8 out of 10 or higher in their undergraduate degree) for a merit-based competition to award six research grants for doctoral theses in the fields of Humanities, Social and Legal Sciences, and Theology.
In accordance with the Foundation’s Statutes, these scholarships are awarded to support training and the advancement of teaching and research activities, within the framework of a Christian outlook on life.
The scholarship application must be completed using the form available at www.oriolurquijo.org.
Once the application has been completed, the following documentation must be sent to the Foundation’s Secretariat by email to: secretaria@oriolurquijo.org
a) Official certification of the academic record. At the time of submitting the application, the applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree, provide evidence of having obtained an official master’s degree (with the exception of a Master’s in Teacher Training), and be enrolled in a PhD programme. Any falsification of documents will result in the application being rejected.
b) A photocopy of the national identity card.
