The 9th edition of TRIPLE HÉLICE is here!

The Vice-Rectorate for Innovation, Transfer and Continuing Education at the University of Zaragoza, through the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI), announces the 9th edition of the ‘Triple Hélice con UNIZAR’ Awards.

This event is aimed at leading companies and institutions in Aragon with the aim of stimulating the development of projects with UNIZAR. Success stories in projects with companies, research results and UNIZAR spin-off/start-up companies will be showcased. These awards aim to recognise and reward researchers and entrepreneurs.

As a new feature, artificial intelligence project ideas from undergraduate and master's students will be presented.

The finalists will be selected from among R&D projects, research results, UNIZAR-recognised companies and artificial intelligence project ideas.

Format: Elevator pitch competition, tell your story in 4 minutes.

Registration deadline: 20 October

Date of the event: 12 November at 12:00 in the Aula Magna of the Paraninfo Building

Elevator pitch workshop: Finalists will be able to attend a communication workshop to prepare their best pitch.

Prizes:

• Success story award (projects with companies, research results and UNIZAR entrepreneurs): The winner will receive €2,000, the runner-up €1,000 and the third-place winner €500.
• TransferIA Award: The winner will attend the IEEE Conference on Artificial Intelligence 2026 in Granada.
