The Francisco Cobos Foundation announces the Francisco Cobos Young Biomedical Researcher Award, worth 30,000 euros, which will be awarded in recognition of significant research work in biomedicine and to encourage the scientific development of a young Spanish PhD holder who has made internationally recognised contributions to biomedicine. The field of biomedicine covered by the award encompasses both experimental and clinical contexts.

The judging panel for this call for applications will be appointed by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and will comprise trustees of the Foundation and figures of recognised prestige in biomedicine, chaired by the Chair of the Board of Trustees.

The deadline for submissions is 24 April 2026. The jury’s decision, against which no appeal may be lodged,will be announced before 19 June 2026 and will be published on the Foundation’s website.
