13th G9 Doctoral Conference in Cuenca | 17–19 June 2026
The Secretary of EDUZ, Cristina Sánchez Gimeno, together with PhD students representing the University of Zaragoza, attended the 13th PhD Conference of the G9 Group of Universities, which this year took place in Cuenca from 17 to 19 June, where 75 PhD students from ten Spanish universities gathered to share their research across various fields of knowledge.
The conference included two workshops on communication and the use of artificial intelligence in scientific research. In addition, research staff from the UCLM took part in a round-table discussion on citizen science and how research transforms the productive fabric through first-hand experiences.
The conference concluded with an awards ceremony for the best scientific posters. The jury recognised the originality, methodological quality and communicative impact of the research presented. The Vice-Chancellor for Campus Affairs, César Sánchez Meléndez, closed the doctoral conference and presented the certificates in the various categories and fields of knowledge. This year, the representatives from UNIZAR were not among the winners.
