INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM
Certification of the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System at School/Faculty level is a prerequisite for applying for Institutional Accreditation. Institutional Accreditation of University Schools/Faculties is a process through which these can simultaneously renew the accreditation of the degrees they offer, provided they have certified the implementation of their Internal Quality Assurance System. Institutional Accreditation is carried out by the Council of Universities. An initial institutional accreditation phase is established, followed by a renewal of said accreditation within six years.
