Quality Assessment Committee
The Quality Assessment Committee is the body responsible for carrying out the annual assessment of the programme; to this end, it will draw up the IEC, which will serve as the basis for the programme coordinator to propose improvement measures and, where appropriate, amendments to the Verification Report.
Composition
- All members of the Academic Committee of the doctoral programme. Those acting as chair and secretary of the Academic Committee shall also hold these roles on this Evaluation Committee.
- Two representatives of the students enrolled on the doctoral programme, who shall be appointed by the Steering Committee for a period of two years upon the proposal of the doctoral candidates on the programme or, failing that, by the student representative body of EDUZ.
- Where applicable, external experts to the doctoral programme appointed by the Vice-Chancellor.
Functions
- To draw up and approve the Quality Assessment Report for the doctoral programme (IEC).
- Assess the overall fulfilment of the objectives set out in the doctoral programme and its alignment with the academic and professional standards deemed most relevant, as well as with the needs of graduates
