Presentation of the Ibercaja Chair in Sustainable Finance ‘Get to know Ibercaja Gestión: From data to investment decisions’

On Thursday, 12 March 2026, the Ibercaja Chair in Sustainable Finance will give a presentation at the Faculty of Sciences entitled ‘Get to know Ibercaja Gestión: From data to investment decisions’ with the aim of informing students, doctoral students and other staff about career opportunities in this field. It will take place in the Auditorium of Building C (Geological Sciences) at 12:10 p.m.

This Chair, directed by Patricia Bachiller Baroja of the Faculty of Economics and Business, focuses its activity on the field of sustainable finance. Sustainable finance aims to incorporate environmental, social and good governance elements into business management and investment decision-making (more information at https://catedras.unizar.es/catedra/catedra-ibercaja-de-finanzas-sostenibles).

During the presentation, Miriam Fernández Jiménez, CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and member of the Chair's Joint Committee, will present Ibercaja Gestión within the framework of the Ibercaja Chair in Sustainable Finance. Afterwards, two recent additions, Isabel Lobera Fortea (Joint Programme in Physics-Mathematics from the University of Zaragoza) and Juan García Galán (Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid) will use practical examples to explain how their profiles are already contributing to the work of the fund manager.
