Transversal Activities
The Doctoral School of the University of Zaragoza offers its doctoral candidates a range of transversal training activities aimed at facilitating the acquisition of the skills necessary to participate actively in the knowledge society and to perform successfully in a complex and ever-changing job market.
The transversal activities offered are divided into two blocks depending on whether they are directly managed by the School or not. Regardless of this distinction, all courses are part of the EDUZ transversal course offering and therefore can and must be added to the activities document. In all cases, the mandatory nature, suitability, and assessment of attendance are determined by the academic committees of each doctoral program and may vary from one program to another (please check the program’s website and/or its coordinator if in doubt).
These activities are highly valued, as reflected in the satisfaction surveys.
Registration
The first registration period for the 2025–2026 academic year activities will open on September 15, 2025. During this period, enrollment may be completed for activities taking place in October, November, December, and January. The second registration period will open on January 7, 2026, for activities scheduled for the remaining months (from February onward).
In order to enroll in any of the activities, students must be registered for the 2025–2026 academic year under doctoral academic supervision at the University of Zaragoza.
Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
