Knowledge Generation Projects and Actions for the training of pre-doctoral research staff 2025 | Applications until 16 December
Characteristics of the actions for the training of pre-doctoral research staff associated with the projects:
The grants for the training of pre-doctoral research staff are intended to finance activities aimed at training new doctors through the completion of a doctoral thesis associated with a research project funded in this call, including the financing of the costs of hiring pre-doctoral research staff, stays at R&D centres and tuition fees arising from doctoral studies. Also, within the framework of the grants, a postdoctoral orientation period (POP) may be funded, once the doctoral degree has been obtained, for the professional development and specialisation of this research staff, provided that the degree is obtained during the period of implementation of the action for the training of pre-doctoral research staff.
The actions will have a maximum duration of four years.
The process of evaluating and selecting the person to be hired will be the responsibility of the beneficiary. The beneficiary must prepare a report describing the selection process and justifying the suitability of the selected person, based on the criteria established in the call for applications.
The selected candidate must meet the requirements set out in Article 21.a) of Law 14/2011 of 1 June in order to be eligible for a pre-doctoral contract.
