Invitation to participate in the study ‘Actions with values at UDIMA: Towards a more age-friendly society and education system through the training of future teachers in non-ageist beliefs’, funded by the VI Call for Grants for Educational Innovation Projects (UDIMA) (PSIP20250401-4).
The purpose of this research is to analyse ageist stereotypes present in the teaching profession and how these are addressed in educational contexts, from early childhood education to university.
Your participation would consist of completing an online questionnaire, structured in two sections:
- First section (approx. 15 minutes): Sociodemographic information and information related to your teaching activity will be collected, as well as responses to various questionnaires on moral values, teaching self-efficacy, ageist stereotypes, and self-efficacy for ageing. In this section, you will also be asked if you would like to voluntarily participate in a discussion group on ageist stereotypes with other teachers.
- Second section (optional, approx. 10 minutes): If you have carried out any activities aimed at preventing or reducing ageist stereotypes, you will be offered the opportunity to describe them on a voluntary basis.
Data collection will be carried out online, in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD). All responses will be treated confidentially and used exclusively for research purposes. Participation is voluntary and you may withdraw from the study at any time without justification. Incomplete responses will be excluded from the analysis.
