1. PUBLIC FEES

The doctoral program-related fees established by the Government of Aragón, as well as other fees such as issuance and secretarial fees can be consulted on the public fees section of the UZDS web page.

2. TUITION FEE DISCOUNTS

Doctoral students may benefit from the tuition fee discounts offered by the UZ.

Those who have obtained distinction in their studies prior to the doctorate can register at the UZDS or send an email to docto@unizar.es so that the appropriate discount can be made considering the public fees.

3. SCHOOL INSURANCE AND ACCIDENT INSURANCE

All Spanish students under 28 years of age who are pursuing doctoral studies are included in the protective scope of the school insurance, as well as students who are nationals of Member States of the European Union and the European Economic Area and, in general, all foreign students residing in Spain under the same conditions as Spanish students, provided that they are pursuing the aforementioned studies in Spain and are under 28 years of age.

Doctoral students over 28 are NOT covered by the school insurance, and it is therefore their responsibility and obligation to hire accident insurance *. A copy of the policy or the payment receipt must be submitted to the UZDS, together with the rest of the registration documents. If you already have an accident insurance policy, you must provide a copy of it at the time of registration.

*NOTE: According to the Management Resolution, students enrolled in a DP who are also hired within the framework of one of the university’s, regional or national pre-doctoral aid programs are exempt from this requirement.

Everyone must provide it, including UZ employees, according to the Decree of public fees.
