5th Meeting of Young Cancer Researchers (EJIC) 2026

This is the 5th Meeting of Young Cancer Researchers (EJIC). Following the success of the previous four editions, EJIC 2026 aims to once again create a meeting point for pre-doctoral researchers from different parts of the country who are studying cancer from various perspectives. This event will offer training workshops to attendees (EJICkers), which will be complemented by informative exhibitions in different formats and competitions to promote the development of cross-cutting skills. In addition, this year we will celebrate the 5th anniversary of the meeting with a special programme on the last day of EJIC, so we hope that this new edition will offer an even more attractive event, if possible.

The conference will take place on 28, 29 and 30 May 2026 in the city of Calatayud (Zaragoza). The EJIC 2026 Organising Committee is offering 30 places: 15 for early-stage pre-doctoral researchers (1-2 years into their thesis) and 15 for advanced pre-doctoral researchers (3 or more years into their thesis). In this new edition, the Organising Committee continues to work to offer per diem allowances and accommodation in shared rooms FREE OF CHARGE (from 27 to 31 May), as well as free attendance at the Welcome Cocktail (Thursday 28) and the traditional Lab Coat Dinner (Friday 29). However, travel to the venue will be covered by the pre-doctoral researcher themselves.
