You can now submit your contribution (an extended abstract: between 500 and 600 words) to the 5th International Congress on Education and Knowledge (ICON-edu 2026), to be held from 10 to 12 June 2026 at the University of Alicante, with the theme: ‘Educational innovation for sustainable development’.
Ideal forum for novel educational research. ICON-edu 2026 pays specific attention to new participants such as undergraduate and Master's students and, in particular, doctoral students who wish to participate by contributing completed or ongoing research.

- Submission phases:– PHASE 1 (all participants): extended abstract (between 500 and 600 words). Up to 2 contributions in total can be submitted in any of the formats.– PHASE 2 (voluntary): 1 full text for a book chapter or journal article. It is possible to publish more than one full text by paying an additional registration fee.
- Publications: there is a wide range of options for publication with prestigious publishers, including both bookchapters and journals, all with high indexing and international impact:
- A) BOOK OF PROCEEDINGS. Book published by Editorial Octaedro (Q1 in SPI) with all the extended abstracts that have been accepted in phase 1.
- B) With regard to the full texts, each participant may choose the publisher or journal in which they wish to publish their full text (double-blind peer review). The options are:
- – BOOK CHAPTERS published by publishers in Q1 SPI, ‘High Level’ in IE-CSIC: Aula Magna-McGrawHill, Dykinson, IGI Global, Octaedro and Tirant lo Blanch.
- – ARTICLES IN INDEXED JOURNALS (Scopus, ESCI, etc.): NAER, Apertura, Edmetic, Edutec, Píxel-Bit, Revista Andina de Educación, Revista Complutense de Educación, Revista Electronica de Investigacion Educativa, Revista Perspectiva Educacional and Revista Innovación Educativa.
- Language: you can choose the language in which to submit your contribution: Spanish, Catalan, English, Italian, Portuguese, German or French.
- Diversity of contributions: you can submit work—whether started, in progress or completed—related to: research, experiences, bibliographic reviews, projects, publications, knowledge transfer activities, project proposals or research results (publications, websites, products or exhibitions).
- Dissemination, ongoing or new research. Specific section in the programme aimed at doctoral students.
- REGISTRATION: fees range from €60 to €300, depending on the type of participation. Discount for doctoral students.
